Joycelyn Albury, MS, MHC is a mental health counselor in Florida and a current doctoral student at Florida State University in the School and Counseling Psychology Program. Her primary research is centered on crisis, suicide, and self-injury prevention and intervention as well as eating disorders.
She is a current victim advocate and an adjunct professor for both Florida State University and Tallahassee Community College. She has worked with a variety of clinical populations, including with youth, eating disorder clients, and offenders.
Joycelyn recently began her own mental health private practice in the State of Florida, Kiese Counseling Center, where she works with a variety of people with differing concerns using a holistic, strengths-based approach.
