Dr. Jessica Headley earned her doctoral degree in counselor education and supervision at The University of Akron, as well as her BA in psychology and sociology and her MA in community counseling. During her graduate studies, Jessica specialized in gerontology and women’s studies.
Jessica’s has numerous publications and presentations on women and gender issues, feminist counseling/supervision/teaching, career development, leadership development, and mentoring. She is an active member of the American Counseling Association, the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision, and Chi Sigma Iota.
Jessica is also a licensed professional counselor in private practice, and she has experience providing counseling in hospital, community, and college settings. She is also co-director of the Ursuline College Women’s Center.
